Synopsis "From Here to There"

Some families come into being through normal means; others are produced by poverty. An orphan himself, Benny comes "home" one night to five more orphans at the old warehouse. He resolves to help. Formulating a plan that can only be carried out with the help of some trusted mentors, their family begins. Follow Benny and "his five" as their journey introduces them to a large disadvantaged family of Gypsies. Experience their happiness as they gain valuable skills to use for the rest of their lives: sewing, baking, beekeeping, gardening, canning, and more. Learn the art of the farrier, blacksmith, cooper, and wheelwright of the past. Feel their joy as each child finds self-fulfillment through the medium of truth, love, and family. Theirs truly becomes a family welded by the fire of adversity, one whose commitment to one another is bigger than life. From Here to There is the first book in the series of four.
