Adrian Pierce Rogers fue un reconocido pastor, predicador, maestro bíblico y escritor bautista estadounidense. Nació el 12 de septiembre de 1931 en West Palm Beach, Florida, Estados Unidos. En 1972 se convirtió en pastor principal de la Iglesia Bautista Bellevue, en Memphis, Tennessee. Durante su liderazgo, la congregación creció considerablemente, pasando de unos 9.000 miembros a más de 29.000. También tuvo una importante participación en la Convención Bautista del Sur, de la cual fue presidente en tres períodos.
