En este libro hay volcanes, ramas, fuego, aguademar, montes, culebras, canelo, zorzales, montañas, arboledas, hiedra. Hay, a su vez, gases lacrimógenos y cafés nocturnos, territorio neón, rímeles que se derraman como si petróleo. “¿Cuántas hemos caído/ ya?”, se pregunta este texto. ¿De quiénes fuimos las alas?, parece preguntarse esta ñaña. “No hay tanques en este lugar del mundo/ porque ya hubo suficiente con callar”. La poesía como un modo propicio de hacer estallar un silencio de siglos a partir de un lenguaje en el que corazón y palabra laten porque sangran de manera pareja, y resisten. Porque la guerra es la guerra, pero a veces la flor confabula.

(Santiago, 1987) is a writer and Philosophy teacher. She is a member of the Mapuche Rangiñtulewfü Collective and part of the editorial team of Yene magazine. She has published the books Wounded River (2016), Florid War (2018, Santiago Municipal Award), The Territory of the Journey (2017, 2022) and the plaquette The Waters No Longer Joined Other Waters (2020). In 2019, she published Piñen, recognized as Best Literary Work in the Short Story category of the Literary Awards granted by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of Chile.
