Sven gained employment as an engineer with one of the leading automotive and aerospace companies in America. Elizabeth was a talented mechanical designer. In 1995, Elizabeth was diagnosed with an advanced case of breast cancer. She obviously sought the help of the prominent breast cancer specialists. From the moment Sven learned Elizabeth's condition he began researching every aspect of Breast cancer and its possible cures. HE DID NOT STAND BY HELPLESSLY WAITING FOR HIS WIFE TO DIE. He used every ounce of his courage, determination, and intelligence to explore alternative medicine to keep his wife alive. His research took him virtually around the world. Thus, he convinced Elizabeth to become partners in her survival. And, therefore, added productive years to her life.
