Greek philosopher and scientist, Aristotle, lived in the 4th century B.C. and is regarded as one of the most important figures of classical antiquity. A reconciliation of the metaphysical theories which came before him, including Plato's "Theory of Forms" and the contrasting theories of Heraclitus and Parmenides, Aristotle's "Metaphysics" is a work which seeks to answer some of the most fundamental of philosophical questions; what is existence, how does it undergo change, and how do we as humans come to understand it?
