Synopsis "Poor Time Management"

Most books about time management tell you how to organise your day and then give you a long list of things you should be doing to become more productive. Poor Time Management takes a different approach. It begins with eight days inside the head of a man struggling to manage his time. Missed trains, forgotten messages, distractions, wasted hours, unfinished jobs and constantly being a little too late become part of a week where time always seems to be getting away from him. Honest, funny and occasionally ridiculous, it is a diary for anyone who has ever wondered where the bloody day went.Once the diary is over, things get lighter with a collection of time management jokes and quotes before moving into eleven practical self help methods. From tackling small tasks immediately and setting clear priorities to time blocking, creating buffers and planning your day more effectively, each method offers something realistic to try.No lectures. No complicated productivity systems. No unrealistic promises. Just one man, eight days, a few laughs and some practical ideas that might help you take better control of your time and make more of the hours you already have.
