El libro en si está bien, no lo he comparado con otras ediciones, la portada esta linda y es de pasta dura, sin embargo, es importante mencionar que esta "versión ilustrada" son solamente imágenes en blanco y negro de zonas arqueológicas de diferentes partes de México y centro América, y de otras culturas, no solamente de los mayas.
