Der zweite Band der Reihe enthalt uber sechzig spatdemotische Quittungen aus dem Umkreis des Soknopaios-Tempels von Soknopaiu Nesos (Dime), von denen die meisten hier erstmals publiziert werden. Das vielfaltige und in dieser Form aus anderen Orten nicht belegte Material gestattet Einblicke in das wirtschaftliche Leben, aber auch in die Organisation von Opferdienst und Buchhaltung eines agyptischen Heiligtums in der romischen Kaiserzeit. Der Band liefert somit eine wertvolle Erganzung zu den schon lange bekannten griechischen Quellen zur Tempelokonomie aus dieser Epoche. Der demotische Wortbestand einschliesslich Personen-, Gotter- und Ortsnamen wird vollstandig durch ein Glossar erschlossen. Alle Dokumente sind im Tafelteil abgebildet, bis auf wenige Ausnahmen im Massstab 1:1.
