En esta obra, Mario Saban se propone explicar, con fundamentos rabínicos y cabalísticos, las razones que le llevaron a desactivar la idea mesiánica de un mesías exterior. Mientras la gran mayoría del judaísmo actual espera a un mesías exterior y el cristianismo sostiene que el Mesías ya ha llegado, Mario Saban se propone demostrar que el alma de cada uno de nosotros es el Mesías y que ya somos adultos para no depender más de un mesías exterior que nos venga a redimir. Mientras el movimiento jasídico sostiene que cada alma es una chispa del Mesías, Mario Saban apuesta por una idea mas radical: cada una de nuestras almas es el mismo Mesías. No somos chispas del Mesías: cada uno de nosotros somos el Mesías . Por tanto, ningún mesías exterior nos salvara de nada y ningún mesías regresara para salvarnos: somos nosotros quienes debemos trabajar para alcanzar la redención.
