R. L. Stine, cuyo nombre completo es Robert Lawrence Stine, es un escritor estadounidense nacido el 8 de octubre de 1943 en Columbus, Ohio. Es reconocido internacionalmente como uno de los autores más exitosos de literatura de terror y suspenso para niños y jóvenes.
