Synopsis "The Diamond Makers"

The Diamond Makers, written against the backdrop of nine incredible decades of history characterized by rapid changes in technology, medicine and social advancements, several wars and the emergence of the United States as the number one economic power in the world. The author's life begins at the end of WWI, the beginning of the Great Depression and the resurgence of the Klu Klux Clan. This book spans WWII, the discovery of penicillin, the first commercial airplanes, the invention of the TV and the computer, the prosperity of the 50's, the first man on the moon, the swinging 60's, the Korean, Vietnam and Iraqi wars, the fight for civil and women's rights, the evolution of capitalism and ever changing world up to 2013. The author spent WWII in the European theatre learning the logistics and management skills that would later serve him in his business career and raising four children. Since retiring, he has stayed active in several manufacturing projects.
