THE REAPER’S TOUCH - Janson Davies

Paul Erebus has ended one hundred and twelve lives in the name of justice.

As the Galactic Tribunal’s only sanctioned Grim Reaper, he has spent centuries believing duty is not a choice-and therefore cannot be a sin.

Then he is ordered to execute Helen Standish, a woman blamed for thirty-seven deaths she never meant to cause. The Tribunal calls her human. The evidence says otherwise. And when Paul’s lethal touch fails against her, he discovers the truth: Helen is a Reaper, the Tribunal has always known, and her execution is meant to conceal a lie powerful enough to fracture the galaxy.

Paul chooses defiance.

Now fugitives aboard The Styx, Paul and Helen race toward Haven, a mythical world where death has no power. But sanctuary has its own price, and the gift they were taught to fear may hold a purpose neither of them imagined.

To free their people, they must decide whether they are weapons, monsters-or something entirely new.
