Synopsis "The Transference"

Atticus Powell is one of the top performing Psychologists in Boston, Massachusetts until he meets his new client. Young and beautiful Avis Neff is the most mysterious and headstrong client he has ever encountered. Atticus quickly learns that Avis is not only beautiful, she is also highly intelligent, and she is definitely hiding something very dark from her past. Unable to fight the overwhelming desire to help his new resistant client, Atticus uses any means necessary to discover her awful secret, discovering that some things may be better left uncovered. While trying to find closure in his own past he learns that he possesses a terrible connection to Avis and her horrible secret. Struggling with a newly awakened passion for his client, Atticus can't decide if telling her the truth is worth the risk of losing her forever.
