Synopsis "Things Left Unfinished"

Sloane doesn't need saving. She proved that a long time ago, back when she had to.What she has now is a house with one room she can't bring herself to finish, a career she's finally choosing on her own terms instead of someone else's, and a life that looks complete from the outside and doesn't quite feel that way from the inside. One night in Dallas cracked something open in her that never fully closed back up, and she has spent the time since deciding what to do with that. Her friends are the ones who won't let her settle for finished-enough. They see the parts of her she keeps meaning to get back to, and they call her on it, ever time.Sloane doesn't believe in soulmates. She has never believed two people are written for each other before they've done a single thing to earn it. But some things don't ask to be believed in. They just keep showing up, unfinished themselves, until she has no choice but to decide what they mean. This is a story about the things we leave undone, the ones we come back for, and what it costs to finally close the door on the rest.
