Synopsis "Tongues"

During the winter of 1890, a local farmer feels on the verge of insanity. He can't sleep. Time seems to be rewinding, somehow transporting him back into situations he lived just moments before. He's in a perpetual state of deja vu. And when time finally starts to correct itself, a series of phantasmagorical events shocks him and only him, for it seems he was the only one to witness what fell from the sky. Now, almost 130 years later, two brothers find an unexplained object near a historical lake where their father used to take them as children. Instead of leaving it in the forest, they bag it and bring it home, hoping that it's something of value. By the time they get to their city, they realize one thing: Whatever they found is alive and growing dramatically. What they need is a hiding place.As they keep this object a secret, their town wakes each morning to new destruction, shock, and alarm. For days, no one knows what is causing such devastating damage. When the origin comes out from hiding in the darkness to collect what the brothers have stolen, the scene unveils the grim understanding that there's little we know in unexplored areas, like what may wait in the depths of a body of water or the possibility of civilizations BEHIND the sky.
