Selected for 'Indie Books We Love' by LoveReading, UK'An impressive work of fantasy...world building is immense and captivating...it turns LA on its head ...very unique' -- Writer's Digest 'This fast-paced, deep delve into the underbelly of our humanness and other realms is a powerful ride that I recommend for those seeking a well-written, gripping adventure bathed in light.'- Cherie Kephart, Editor, Bazi Publishing'The action has a much larger scope in 'Wall of Unknowing' as the murky cloud expands and chaos seems to loom from every direction. There are moments of character growth but these are all in relation to the action and so I think that this would appeal to readers who prefer a more fast and furious urban fantasy. With a preternaturally skilled team facing off against a villain seeking to destroy a city by dragging it into the underworld, there's a strong superhero feel to the story once more and would appeal to readers who enjoy supernatural and superhero narratives. With lots of questions left unanswered we wait for the next epic instalment in the Red Souls series.' - LoveReading Review'Astral phantoms, energized crystal, car chases, a dragon-headed statue with a demon inside, an ever-approaching wall of terror, the underworld rising, and a courageous circle of friends who harness all their strength and supernal powers to save the souls of L.A., is just a taste.'A massive wall of lightning-filled static is spreading over Los Angeles. The wall is sentient, and it seems unstoppable.Gem, the Guardian of the Astral Gate, calls it a Wall of Unknowing. The Circle of Augustus must stop the spread before it reaches the Pacific Ocean or L.A. will be cut off from the rest of California. The static jumbles the mind. People forget what they used to know, the lessons of their lifetime. Not remembering how to do even the simplest things, they begin to act out in frustration. Violence erupts in the neighborhoods. Chaos soon follows. L.A. will fall into the Underworld and disappear from planet earth, erased from history's memory. The Circle of Augustus - Willet, Audrey, TJ and Dean - must enter the Wall in order to fight it. When they do, they struggle to maintain their own memories of each other and what they're trying to accomplish. Horrific specters and needle-fingered shadows lurk inside the Wall and try to keep them from getting out. Circle members are separated from each other, scattered across the city. The power of the Circle is broken, and the success of the mission is very much in doubt. Their memories are fading. Only their love for each other will save them.Jat the Deceiver, Lord of the Underworld, may indeed win this round against the Circle after losing the last one. Unless they can use one of his own creations against him...
