Synopsis "When It Raynes"

Rayne DuBois is a smart, beautiful, no nonsense type of woman. She works hard and does what she wants. The one thing that she doesn't want is to be like her father. They hit it off, however on a visit back home, she meets Malcolm Lopez, a junior partner at her father's law firm. The attraction is instant and the sexual tension between the two of them is like magic waiting to happen. Her time in D.C. is short, but she has to decide which man she wants to be with. She goes back to her life in Atlanta and starts a life there. Then tragedy strikes her family, leaving her to raise a new baby alone. She has a hard time coping, but her family comes through, bringing along with them the past. Now she is forced to face the man that she has worked so hard to forget. He rocked her whole world once; will that be enough for them to make it work? Can she love again or should she follow her head, instead of her heart?
