Synopsis "Who We Really Are"

Who We Really Are brings to the fore the constraints of assigned realities, belief systems, sexual identities and the perpetual flow of inherited mindsets that can, and do, impede self-realization. In light of the problematic strain of having to pretend conformity and normality, this is an exploration of events and unexpected forces that evoke catalytic shifts away from our internal conflicted feelings to allow for the emergence of a more authentic self. Reality-changing circumstances are presented in a collection of contemplative glimpses of unusual events, which can appear out of nowhere, unexpectedly, and not necessarily in compliance with the well-intended and noblest of designs. Each account features or addresses some form of human collision with the unexpected, the unknown or the concealed. The outcomes of these challenging experiences potentially produce antithetical shifts to our reality perimeters enabling the emergence of those unique essences needed to comply with Who We Really Are as humans on other plains, in other dimensions and psychological contexts - and in contrast to who we thought we were, or have been taught to believe we must be. The emancipation process into Who We Really Are -- sometimes perilous, always a work-in-progress, a bit scary, often miraculous --- is eventually inevitable. These glimpses are partially fictionalized accounts of "times in general" -- to which we are eternally and internally connected -- and, which carry the scripts of conformity, personalized bondage, pathological struggles and ultimately, the unfolding our human essence.
