He then worked as a Philadelphia police officer for nine years, a US postal worker for thirty-five years, and a school cop for eight years. He has been married to the world's best wife, Sylvia, for fifty years. Together, they had six sons, Elgin, Marc, Pete, Sterling, Kareem, and Rocque.
