Klaus Janson es un influyente artista de cómics nacido el 23 de enero de 1952 en Coburg, Alemania. Emigró a Estados Unidos siendo niño, donde creció y desarrolló su pasión por el dibujo. Inició su carrera profesional en la década de 1970 trabajando para Marvel Comics, destacándose rápidamente como entintador.

Su trabajo alcanzó gran reconocimiento gracias a su colaboración con Frank Miller en la serie Daredevil, donde ayudó a definir un estilo más oscuro y realista que marcó una nueva etapa en los cómics de superhéroes. Posteriormente, participó en la aclamada novela gráfica The Dark Knight Returns, consolidando su prestigio en la industria.
