Jesús Ferrero (Zamora, December 30, 1952) is a Spanish writer known for his prolific literary output that spans novels, poetry, and essays. He studied History at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and has lived in various cities, enriching his literary perspective.

Among his most notable works are Bélver Yin (1981), awarded the Ciudad de Barcelona Prize in 1982, El último banquete (1997), which received the Azorín Novel Prize, and Las abismales (2018), winner of the Café Gijón Prize. His literary style is characterized by a rich and deep narrative, exploring universal themes with a unique voice in contemporary literature.
