Writer, journalist, and lawyer. He graduated in Literature and Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and then served as a professor in the Faculty of Law. He has worked in journalism in print media, radio, and television, covering terrorism, drug trafficking, and electoral campaigns.

He has published the book of chronicles With the Eyes of a Witness (1997) and the investigative journalism books An Eye for an Eye, the True Story of the Colina Group (2003, 2017); Story of Two Adventurers (2005, 2017); Secrets of the Tunnel (2007); To Die Twice (2016); The Outsider, the Origin of Adventurers in Peruvian Politics (2018); Road to Russia (2018), I Follow You Everywhere / This is How They Robbed Us (2019) and Abimael, the Path of Terror (2017, 2022). His books have been published in Peru, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile.
