Synopsis "Things Come Together 2 "

The conclusion of the two-part series, Things Come Together. This heart-warming yet sometimes somber romance follows Derek and Katie, two young millennials on individual journeys of self-discovery. Katie Berry, an alluring woman who comes from an ideal upper-class upbringing struggles to escape her past to establish a stable future of her own with Derek Dupree, a young man working to defeat his own insecurities and figure life out. In the midst of continually rising tensions, strained relationships with family and friends, these two also must deal with Katie's demanding father, an estranged workaholic who makes it clear that Derek is not enough for his daughter. Things Come Together follows an ensemble cast of relatable and memorable characters who are on a painful and uncertain road to putting the many pieces of their lives back together. In the midst of the destructive power of pride and ego, the internal struggles of insecurities juxtaposed with outward smiles, expensive possessions, and the frustration of constantly proving something to others, we see that fences can be mended, wounds healed, and hearts opened.
