Synopsis "Viestimies (in Finnish)"

Yrjö Ylisirniö ( 1909-2000) syntyi Posiolla ja osallistui talvi- ja jatkosotaan ( 1939-44). Hän taltioi sotakokemuksensa C-kaseteille 90-luvun alussa. Hänen tarkoitus oli myös kirjoittaa kirja kokemuksistaan . Kirja jäi kuitenkin tuolloin kirjoittamatta. Minä, hänen tyttårensä Anne Ylisirniö-Kemppanen, päätin kirjoittaa isäni kertomusten perusteella tämän kirjan mahdollisimman totuuden mukaisesti. Kirja kertoo myös ajasta ennen sotia ja se sisältää paljon kuvamateriaalia.
