Layla Martínez (Madrid, 1987) es una escritora, columnista y editora española con formación en Ciencias Políticas y un máster en Sexología, cuya obra se mueve entre la poesía, el ensayo y la narrativa contemporánea. Comenzó publicando libros de poemas y ensayos que exploran desde la imaginería social hasta las tensiones culturales de nuestro tiempo. Su escritura combina sensibilidad crítica, compromiso social y una voz propia, y también colabora en medios escritos y coordina proyectos editoriales independientes.

Su novela Carcoma (2021) es una pieza central en su trayectoria: un relato de terror gótico y realismo mágico que utiliza el espacio claustrofóbico de una casa rural para reflexionar sobre la violencia de género, las heridas de la Guerra Civil española y las jerarquías socioeconómicas.
